History & Vision

The Whole Truth Gospel Church of Faith of Earle, Arkansas has been known as a place of refuge, refreshing and reviving since its inception in 1984. The church was birthed as a result of God using our founder, Apostle Eddie L. Wilson, Sr. to plant this church to bring hope, healing and deliverance to the small rural community of Earle.

At the time of the church's inception, the community was known for its heavy traditions of religion and church as usual. There was a stronghold of racism, generational poverty, illiteracy, sexual abuse and mental illness that plagued many of the citizens in the city. There was also a need for a strong "spirit led" church that was open to allowing God to have free course in the services without any program limitations, in addition to being a headquarters to train up God's people who would eventually walk in the 5-fold ministry gifts of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher.

Apostle Wilson and Prophetess Wilson committed themselves to much fasting and praying and laboring for souls to be delivered from the powers of darkness in the city. Through many revivals, healing and deliverance services, miracles, signs and wonders, expository bible studies and individual soul-winning assignments, men and women begin to come to the church to see what the new preacher in town was about.

The first building came about as a result of God allowing Apostle Wilson to rent an old flower shop. God added to the church as the people were amazed to see noteable manifested signs and wonders. After much growth, the Lord made room for the church to purchase land to prepare for the vision that God had given the man of God for a new building. In 2000, Apostle Wilson's vision was enlarged and came to fruition as the new beautiful and spacious 6250 square ft. sanctuary was built, which Apostle Wilson designed and built as the lead project manager and contractor.

Today, the church is known as a headquarters for many Ministers and Pastors all over the country and abroad that were birthed from the ministry. The church also serves as a community outreach center during times of crisis and is committed to serving in outreach capacities for Youth Afterschool Programs as well.
